Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, President of Aswan University, stated that the celebrations of Aswan University on the occasion of Science Day and the 10th anniversary of its establishment, coinciding with the Egyptian people’s celebrations of the glorious June 30 Revolution, will continue until next Thursday, which is organized by Aswan University under the auspices of Major General/ AshrafAttia – Governor of Aswan, and Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman – President of Aswan University, under the supervision of Prof. Mohamed Abdel Aziz Muhalal – Director of the International Classification at Aswan University.
”Othman”, President of Aswan University, added that the celebration of this occasion lasted for a week, which began on Sunday, June 26, 2022, until Thursday, June 30, and includes many activities and services for the community, in various faculties which number reached to 20 faculties and institutes in addition to Aswan University Hospital.
Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshoury, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aswan University Hospitals, added that the university hospital offers a 25% discount on surgeries, CT scans, and MRI for citizens in the governorate, which was very popular with citizens in Aswan Governorate and patients in Southern Upper Egypt.
Students of the Faculty of Medicine conduct awareness campaigns about diabetics and pressure patients at the university, with the participation of the Faculty of Medicine and the University Hospital in the university’s celebrations of the 10th anniversary of its establishment.
Dr. Ashraf Maabad – Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals, explained that the university hospital has opened its doors since last Sunday to patients, and the hospital continues to provide its medical services in celebration of the 10th anniversary of its establishment of the university, and the inclusion of Aswan General Hospital to become a university hospital affiliated with Aswan University, which won good luck through the past years of medical development and expansion until it became a medical edifice that includes all different medical specialties and provides medical services to patients in Aswan Governorate and the governorates of Southern Upper Egypt.
