Today evening corresponding to 20th March 2018, Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed inaugurated a medical conference in the presence of Prof. Ahmed Aziz, president of Sohag university. Prof. Ghallab said, in his speech, that the conference is held under the title (Pain Relief and New in Anesthesia). It is organized by the department of anesthesiology, faculty of medicine, Aswan university in cooperation with the department of anesthesiology, faculty of medicine, Sohag university.
Prof. Ahmed Ghallab introduced stages of development which Aswan University experienced in the last period in the various scientific, medical and research sectors. Aswan university seeks to provide an up to date medical service via the university hospitals .
In the a related context, Prof. Ghallab welcomed Prof. Ahmed Aziz and declared that Aswan university is looking forward to twinning with the Sohag university in various disciplines. For his part, president of Sohag university expressed his pleasure on the warm reception, stressing on the deep scientific relations between the two universities.
On the sidelines of the conference, Prof. Ghallab granted the University’s Shield to the president of Sohag university as a recognition of his efforts in the joint and fruitful cooperation between the two parties in the presence of a considerable number of specialists. The event witnessed the attendance of Prof. Mansour Kabbash, former president of Aswan university, Prof. Hussein El-Sharif and a selected group of professors of anesthesia from various universities.
