Otolaryngology Department was constructed in 2014 along with the faculty of medicine inauguration. It is distinct in Nose Endoscopy, Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery, and Microscopic Ear Surgery.
The Department aims at preparing doctors with experience, skill, and medical background in order to deal with and diagnose the different cases and then intervene for treatment in a timely manner in line with today’s scientific and medical development.
We also seek to develop communication skills between doctor and patient and deepen the ethics of the profession regarding dealing with doctors and each other. Since the department’s establishment in 2014, we are committed to developing it and providing the department with modern equipment for being a nucleus of a global medical center for ear, nose, and throat surgeries in Upper Egypt. We have the ability to deal with all complicated cases who were finding it challenging to reach the nearest center for ear, nose, and throat surgeries.
