In the frame of the efforts of Aswan University headed by Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed – Aswan University President_ Towards Society and Environment Development, Aswan University in cooperation with Misr El Kheir Foundation, organized a medical convoy that includes specializations (Surgery – Pediatrics – Internal medicine – Dermatology – Orthopedics – Obstetrics, and gynecology – Anesthesia) and headed to the Golden Triangle (Shalateen, Halayeb, and Abu Ramad).The medical convoy left this morning, 23rd January 2018, from the headquarter of Aswan University Hospital, in attendance of Prof. Ahmed Ghallab – University President, Prof. Ahmed Sayed Khalil – Vice President for Community Service and Environment Development, and Prof. Abdallah Al-Obaidi – Director of Aswan University Hospitals, and Prof / Hussein Abdel-Latif – Secretary-General of the University.Prof. Ghallab_ University president_ emphasized the importance of the role of medical convoys, especially in the Halayeb and Shalateen area, for which the state pays great attention, pointing out that the university has not neglected its role towards society, in terms of the educational, cultural and medical role.Prof. Khalil_ Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environment Development added that the community service and environment development sector addresses issues that concern the citizens and presents positive solutions.Prof. Al-Obaidi_ Director of University Hospitals, indicated that the University President pays great attention to medical convoys, and through his directives to prepare a medical convoy in various specialties, the participating Physicians were selected and the medical convoy was provided with the necessary medicines from Misr El Kheir Foundation, and his Excellency indicated that those who need surgery, they will be transferred to the University Hospital in Aswan.
