On Wednesday corresponding to 16th March 2022, Aswan university president Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman inaugurated the conference organized by Aswan university’s faculty of medicine’s pediatrics department in the presence of the faculty’s dean Prof. Mohammed Zaki Al Dahshlri, the faculty’s vice deans, chairman of pediatrics department Prof. Bahaa Al Hawary, and Dr. Rabeea Al Rawaah, pediatrics specialist. Prof. Othman stressed the significance of holding scientific and medical congresses in Aswan governorate which is considered an international winter resort based on promoting educational tourism and exchanging medical and scientific experience with young doctors.
Prof. Dahshori added that the 3rd edition of the annual conference on pediatrics is held in Aswan and hosts an elite of pediatrics professors from Egyptian, Arab and African universities among which are: Cairo university, Ain Shams University, Al Azhar university, and Alexandria university. It hosts also doctors from every corner of Egypt as well as from Arab and African countries; Libya, Lebanon, and Sudan. The congress is held in cooperation and coordination with the Future Pediatrics Doctors Association and Aswan university’s faculty of medicine’s pediatrics department. It was scheduled to continue till Friday corresponding to 18 March 2022.
Prof. Al Hawary said that the conference aims at enhancing the capacities of young doctors and transferring experiences to them, providing a complete opportunity for training in the workshops of the conference on modern diagnosis and treatment in pediatrics in cooperation with the American Academy for Pediatrics.
Leading figures from the majority of old Egyptian universities will lecture in the congress and will handle the requirements and obstacles that face young doctors under the title” I was a resident doctor recently”.
