Under the patronage of Prof. Hussein Al-Sharif, dean of the faculty of medicine, and Dr. Abdullah Al-Obaidi, general director of Aswan university hospitals, Infection Control Unit as well as University Hospital Laboratory have the honor to conduct a workshop today corresponding to 27th August 2017 which is scheduled to last for further 3 days, entitled “Basics of Microbiology in Diagnosing Nosocomial Infection” in cooperation with the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and the Supreme Council of Universities SCU. The workshop was lectured by Dr. Omar Helmy, affiliated to CDC in Cairo. The workshop was held under the supervision of Dr. Imad Farah, chairman of laboratories department, and Dr. Asma Osama, head of the Infection Control Unit.
