The Deadline for Submitting Graduate Student Protocols and Topics is April 2026

The Department of Postgraduate Studies and Research at the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, headed by Prof. Mostafa Adam El-Tiri, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, announces that the Postgraduate Studies and Research Committee and the Research Ethics Committee will convene on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in the Dean’s Office at Aswan University Hospital.
The deadlines for graduate students (Master’s and PhD) are as follows:
Submission of Master’s and PhD research protocols and postdoctoral research proposals:
Monday, March 30, 2026.
Submission of graduate research topics:
Monday, April 6, 2026.
Notes:
-A maximum of six (6) Master’s research protocols will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis; any additional submissions will be postponed to the following month.

-A maximum of four (4) PhD research protocols will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis; any additional submissions will be postponed to the following month.

-A maximum of five (5) postdoctoral research proposals will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis; any additional submissions will be postponed to the following month.

-Master’s and PhD students who submit research protocols for discussion before the Graduate Studies Committee must wear a white coat during the discussion session.

-Applicants for protocols must adhere to the form prepared by the Graduate Studies Department and follow the guidelines shown, which can be obtained by clicking here.

-Students whose protocols are accepted must send an electronic copy to the committee members via email at:
(postgraduateethicsmembers@aswu.edu.eg) and submit a hard copy, certified by their supervisors, to the Graduate Studies Office at the Faculty.

-Submissions received after the specified deadlines will not be considered.
