Under the patronage of Prof. Loay Saad El-Din Nasrat, Acting President of Aswan University, and Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dashoury, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and with the honorable presence of Prof. Hanan Abdel Moneim Awad, former Vice President of Aswan University for Education and Student Affairs and Professor of Pediatrics; Prof. Mahmoud El-Mougy, President of the Future Pediatricians Association and Conference Chair; and Prof. Ashraf Maabad, Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals, the 8th Scientific Conference of the Future Pediatricians Association, organized in collaboration with the Department of Pediatrics at Aswan University, commenced on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the Tulip Hotel in Aswan.
The conference is held under the supervision of Prof. Bahaa El-Hawary, Secretary General of the Conference and Head of the Department of Pediatrics at Aswan University.
The event features a wide range of workshops across various pediatric subspecialties, alongside scientific lectures addressing the latest developments in clinical medicine, delivered by distinguished professors from Egypt and abroad. The program also includes open discussion sessions with experts, focusing on the challenges faced by pediatricians in daily practice, exploring practical solutions, and reviewing recent therapeutic advances. The conference aims to promote evidence-based medical practice, enhance clinical competencies, and improve the quality of healthcare services provided to the community.
The conference proceedings began with verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem.
Prof. El-Dashoury, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, welcomed participants from different governorates, expressing his appreciation for their attendance and wishing them a productive and enriching scientific experience. He emphasized that organizing such conferences reflects the university’s firm belief that medicine is not merely a profession, but a noble humanitarian mission founded on knowledge, ethics, and compassion. He further highlighted the importance of continuous scientific research, knowledge exchange, and adherence to evidence-based medical practices in keeping pace with the rapid advancements in medical science.
Prof. El-Mougy, President of the Future Pediatricians Association and Conference Chair, stated that the conference represents a valuable scientific platform for presenting recent medical research and discussing advanced clinical practices. He stressed the significance of strengthening collaboration between medical and academic institutions to enhance healthcare outcomes through the exchange of expertise among specialists and young physicians.

Prof. Bahaa El-Hawary, Head of the Department of Pediatrics, announced that the conference runs from February 11 to 14, 2026.
