The Supreme Council of Universities (General Administration of Technical Affairs of the Councils) announces that in light of the letter of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour – Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chairman of the Supreme Council of Universities, within the framework of the efforts of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, one of the most important presidential initiatives to support education and scientific research, and in support of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to advance academic staff, assistant staff, researchers and students in Egyptian universities, and in coordination between the Egyptian Knowledge Bank and the Digital Libraries Unit at the Electronic and Knowledge Services Center of the Supreme Council of Universities in the field of coordinating training in universities on the information sources available in the Egyptian Knowledge Bank to achieve the maximum possible benefit from these sources.
As a result, His Excellency directed that the Egyptian Knowledge Bank training team, in collaboration with the success partners of international publishing houses and coordination with the Supreme Council of Universities, conduct a field tour to visit public universities, to raise awareness and facilitate access to information through workshops at Egyptian universities.
Which will be launched from Aswan University on Saturday, October 13th, so academic staff, assistants, researchers, and students at the college who wish to attend should notify the college administration so that a list of attendees can be prepared, and in turn, they will raise awareness among their colleagues to spread knowledge.
