This evening, Tuesday, February 27, 2024, Prof. Ayman Othman, President of Aswan University, and Dr. Osama Abdel Hay, Head of the Egyptian Doctors Syndicate, witnessed the graduation ceremony of the ninth batch at the Faculty of Medicine in the honor and presence of the following leaders of the university, college, and Aswan University Hospitals: Prof. Loay Saad El-Din, Vice President of Aswan University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Mohamed Mustafa Hussein, Vice President of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Mustafa Adam Al-Tiri, Vice President of the Faculty for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Ashraf Mabed, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Ramadan Ghaleb, Director of Al-Batinah Hospital, Prof. Muhammad Rabie, Director of the Surgery Hospital, Prof. Bahaa Al-Hawari, Head of the Pediatrics Department, and an elite group of faculty members and their assistants, in addition to the presence of the students’ families.
The ceremony begins with the national anthem and recitation of the verses of the Holy Qur’an, followed by words from the audience, and then faculty of medicine students take an Oath of allegiance
During the ceremony, Othman, President of Aswan University, confirmed that the state values medical personnel and the efforts they have made and continue to make, referring to them as Egypt’s White Army.
Abdel Hay, the Head of the Egyptian Doctors Syndicate, expressed his joy at being present at this occasion, wishing all graduates luck in their future endeavors, God willing.
Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshoury, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, stated during his speech on behalf of ”Al-Tiri”, that today we celebrate together on the occasion of graduating a new batch of youth doctors, they are the soldiers of the white army who received the principles of medical science in this medical edifice, which was born hugely from its establishment, confirming that we have feelings of pride and pleasure in graduating this batch with the excellence that they were able to accomplish throughout their studies. The most joyful moments in a person’s life are the culmination of hard work and success. Congratulations from the heart to all of the graduates.
