The Digital Library Unit of the Information and Communications Network Center announces that, based on the request submitted, to “examine the academic integrity of the researchers’ theses before granting,” and after reviewing the sent CDs, the following is noticed:
-Thesis file without cover for researchers and supervisors.
-An image file, not a text, and therefore the citation-checking program cannot read it.
-The thesis is divided into chapters in (Word) format, not in one file.
-The discs have technical defects (broken, non-functional, or empty without any files).
Accordingly; Please, gentlemen researchers: It is necessary to examine the CDs content of the theses before granting, provided that they are in one file only in text (PDF) format, including (all chapters of the thesis, the abstract, the two cover pages in Arabic and English, and the page for the supervision, judgment and discussion committee).
And that’s before sending it to the digital library unit for examination on the citation program so that we can work on it and issue reports more quickly.
