According to Aswan University President Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, the University Hospital in Aswan always strives to provide the best medical services to citizens, in light of the political leadership’s interest in the citizens’ health. The University Hospital signed several treatment protocols in this context with the goal of exchanging medical and health experiences.
Aswan University Hospitals’ Chairman of the Board of Directors and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshoury, noted that the protocol for cooperation between the University Hospital and Abu Simbel International Hospital has been signed again. Additionally, the nursing staff will seek to enhance the healthcare system and deliver first-rate medical care to Aswan Governorate residents as well as patients from the southern governorates of Upper Egypt.
According to a press release from Aswan University, “Dahshoury,” the dean of the faculty of medicine, signed a cooperation protocol with the Abu Simbel International Hospital while Dr. Mohamed Abu Al-Wafa, the hospital’s director, Dr. Ashraf Ma’bad, the executive director of the university hospitals, Prof. Essam Abu Al-Magd, the director of the surgery hospital, and Prof. Muhammad Mustafa Hussein, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Head of the Urology Department.
In order to better serve the residents of Aswan, Ma’bad, the executive director of the university hospitals in Aswan, stated that the university hospital is now working on transferring scientific and medical skills across major hospitals.
The director of Abu Simbel International Hospital, Abu Simbel, outlined how this collaborative effort fits within the national medical projects being carried out in the popular tourist destination of Abu Simbel as well as the medical renaissance that is taking place in medicine.
