Today corresponding to 18th Oct. 2017 the 1st day of the pediatrics conference entitled” The Newest in Clinical Pediatrics“ was launched. It is a joint event between the pediatrics departments of the universities of Aswan and Al Azhar ( the faculty of medicine for males Assuit branch, the faculty of medicine for females) in cooperation of Prince Sultan Military College, KSA. The event is held in Mövenpick Hotel and it will last for 4 days.
The Congress is attended by:
Dr. Abbas Shoman – deputy of Al-Azhar
Maj. Gen. Magdy Hegazy – governor of Aswan
Prof. Mohamed Al-Mahrasawi – president of Al-Azhar university
Prof. Ahmed Ghallab – president of Aswan university
Prof. Hanan Abdel Moneim Awad – vice president for education and student’s affairs
Dr. Edan Musa Al Zahrani- dean of Prince Sultan Military College for Health Sciences in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and the conference’s honorary president.
The conference was also attended by a selected group of physicians, academic staff and their assistants from the different Egyptian universities.
Among the events’ aims is the University of Al Azhar’s keenness on promoting the cultural and science relationships with Aswan university and Prince Sultan Military College for Health Sciences in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
It should be noted that the congress was preceded by several workshops conducted by pediatrics departments of the organizing faculties. The workshops aimed at helping the graduate students and physicians of the Egyptian universities, the ministry of health, the police hospitals, the military hospitals as well as the health assurance hospitals.
