
In light of the Minister of Planning and Economic Development’s directives, and with reference to the cooperation between the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development.
As a result, we are pleased to inform you of a scholarship for the Sustainable Development Ambassadors Initiative, a capacity-building initiative launched by the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, the Ministry’s training arm, with the goal of spreading the culture of sustainability throughout Egyptian society.
The program seeks to introduce young people to the notion of comprehensive and equitable sustainable development in order to prepare them to implement comprehensive and integrated development in a variety of productive and service activities and fields with the aim of improving the standard of living of Egyptian citizens. The initiative consists of three main levels: –
Introductory level: The study takes place through the electronic training platform “Estidama” and includes an introduction to some personal skills and principles of sustainable development.
Specialized level: The study takes place through the electronic training platform and includes (23) recorded lectures presented by specialists in various sustainable development axes.
Professional level: It includes qualifying trainees through the Trainee Training (TOT) program and is implemented through actual attendance to become ambassadors for sustainable development in the field of work and spread the idea and applications of sustainable development in their communities.
Students and academic staff wishing to nominate for training (provided that the age does not exceed 35 years) must register electronically through the link below while adhering to the conditions for joining the training program.
