The Egyptian National Bank announces issuing the Unified Prepaid Meeza Bank Card for universities students.
Uses of the card in the local financial transactions:
-Electronic payment for all bills(university fees-online purchases-shopping at any merchant).
-Using the card in all financial transactions (governmental or non-governmental).
-Withdrawing from any ATM machine (ATM).
-Enjoying banking internet service.
-You can pay your bills and recharge mobile balance by a mobile wallet.
-The capacity to transfer funds from within and outside the Arab Republic of Egypt (without the need to visit a bank).
-Transfer funds to and from your card using the bank’s ATMs.
-Transfers can also be performed via Instapay. With each online purchase, you will receive a one-time password (OTP) on your cell phone.
-Please guarantee that your information is kept confidential and not shared with anyone.
Steps to activate the unified Meeza prepaid card for universities:
Receive and fill out the card issuance application, then collect the card from the university.
Ensure the accuracy of the information, especially the mobile number (a message will be sent regarding all transactions, whether cash withdrawals or purchases).
Do not use the card unless you receive a text message (SMS) to activate the card.
Go to the nearest National Bank of Egypt ATM and create a four-digit PIN to use for any financial transactions (make sure to keep the PIN confidential, not share it with anyone, and do not record it clearly on your phone).
Regarding deposits, the card can be charged and used simultaneously through ATMs that allow deposits with the National Bank of Egypt (Bank branches, Internet banking, InstaPay, card transfers through National Bank of Egypt ATMs, and any internal or external transfers).
Important notes:
If you lose your card, call the National Bank of Egypt’s call center at 19623 to deactivate it before requesting a replacement card from the university.
If you can’t remember your card’s PIN, you can phone the National Bank of Egypt’s call center at 19623, use the internet banking service if you subscribe to it, or go to your nearest bank branch.
