In the framework of the educational, research, and constructional surge witnessed by Aswan University, Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab declared that today the faculty of science’s geology program was accredited by the National Authority of Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education NAQAAE. Prof. Ghallab pointed out that the faculty of energy engineering’s power engineering program was accredited before. He urged the two faculties to submit other programs for accreditation as civil engineering and geophysics programs. Prof. Nadi Kamal Aziz, the manager of Aswan University’s quality assurance center, said that the center receives special care under the patronage of Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab. It stands ready for providing technical support for all faculties as the faculties of agriculture and natural resources and energy engineering which get a project from the ministry of higher education, project management unit for supporting them to apply for accreditation as well as moral and financial support from Aswan university president for enhancing the educational system according to quality and accreditation criteria.
