-An Introduction to Internal Medicine Department:

The Internal Medicine Department is located on the 4th floor of Aswan university hospital. It includes 2 wards; one for males and the other for females. Every ward includes 4 rooms with a total of 12 beds. It has ultrasonography and electrocardiography devices. The department has several units for providing the best care:

  • Hemodialysis unit, Diabetic foot and Endocrinology unit, Gastrointestinal and Liver Unit, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy unit, intensive care unit, and outpatient clinics.

The department trains physicians through training courses, workshops, and annual scientific conferences.

It gives considerable concern to the research aspect. 9 master’s degrees were granted and 38 doctors registered for master’s and MD degrees.
