The 1st scientific clinical conference for the orthopedics department was launched on Thursday corresponding to 28th Nov. 2019 in cooperation with the Egyptian Orthopedic Association EOA, Aswan under the patronage of Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab, the dean of the faculty of medicine Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al Dahshori, the congress chairman Prof. Hashem Hamed Al Referee, vice dean of community service and environmental development and the chairman of the orthopedic department and Prof. Abd Al-Salam Eid, Professor of orthopedic. The event was attended by the vice dean of graduate studies and research Prof. Mohamed Mustafa Hussin and the general manager of Aswan university hospitals Prof. Abd Allah Mahmoud Al Ebeidy with the participation of a selected group of orthopedic professors from different Egyptian universities among whom:
- Prof. Hassan El Zaher, professor of orthopedics, faculty of medicine, Ain Sham University
- Prof. Gamal Hosny, professor of orthopedics and president of the Egyptian Orthopedic Association
- Prof. Faisal Adam Fahmy, professor of orthopedics, faculty of medicine, Assuit University
- Prof. Osama Farouk, professor of orthopedics, faculty of medicine, Assuit university
- Prof. Alaa Al-Zuhairi, Professor of Orthopedic Surgery.
The conference introduced the most recent results in treating complicated cases based on the latest globally disseminated research.
