Under the auspice of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman– Aswan University President, and Prof. Mohamed Zaki El Dahshoury – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, today, on Wednesday, corresponding to 27/7/ 2022, the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at Aswan University visited the Faculty of Medicine – Aswan University, where the committee met with Prof. Mohamed Mostafa Amin – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development and Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit at the Faculty, Dr. Ali Mohamed Younis – Deputy Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit at the Faculty of Medicine, and members of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty, and the attendance also included a group of academic staff and their assistants in the faculty.
The committee was composed of:-
Prof. Montaser Mohamed Ramadan – Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Engineering.
Prof. Mohamed Gaber Abbas – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Social Work for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs.
Prof. Ahmed Abdel Moneim Farman – Assistant Professor, Faculty of Archeology.
The current status of the quality program at the Faculty of Medicine was presented, from the formation of the faculty’s quality committee and assigning the academic staff to the main axes of the program and identifying the obstacles, as well as setting a timetable for the completion of the standards necessary for the faculty to obtain accreditation.
