Aswan University Council approved in its session held No. (120) on June 27, 2022, after considering the presented memorandum regarding activating the academic integrity examination “quotation” for university theses as a requirement to form a committee for judgment and discussion, according to its application in most universities and to achieve scientific research characterized by integrity and create a new generation of academics researchers characterized by objectively, provided that the percentage allowed from only one source is (25%) as a maximum for citation, and the total percentage of citation from all sources does not exceed (40%), with the exception of research extracted from the thesis.
Accordingly; Graduate Studies and Research Affairs Office, headed by Prof. Mohamed Mustafa Hussein – Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, announces that postgraduate students registered for master’s and doctoral theses must go to the university’s headquarters in Sahara to check the citation of the theses before forming the judging and discussion committee for scientific theses.
