The acting university president Prof. Ayman Othman declared that Aswan University got 1st place in Time Higher Education Ranking 2021. He added that it topped the Egyptian ones and is among the best 500 universities worldwide according to THE depending on 13 well-standardized performance indicators. Prof. Othman continued that keeping the university at the top is harder than achieving it, the University got several scientific and research titles by which it gained academic reputation.
