In the interest of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to cooperate with Fulbright commission in Egypt to support students, Academic staff, and their Assistants with special needs to benefit from the presented grants, so that Fulbright commission announces holding introductory seminars for the programs by Zoom application to the concerned persons to identify their needs and working on overcoming the obstacles facing them and facilitating the application and travel processes to them.
The Commission’s available programs for the academic year 2023/2022 include all scientific and literary specialties and provide the following:
First: Islamic Studies / Student Program: This program presents the following scholarships:
- Masters scholarships for Egyptian universities graduates in order to get a master’s degree in all fields.
- Scholarships for conducting research and collecting study material for students registered in an Egyptian university to get a doctorate degree.
- Art scholarships for conducting research and attending specialized classes (Master Classes) in their artistic fields.
- Scholarships for graduates of Faculties of Al-Azhar and Dar Al-Uloom to get a master’s degree or a doctorate degree, or Scholarships for conducting research and collecting study material for students registered for a doctoral degree.
Second: Academic staff Programs (Scholar Program): This program presents the following scholarships:
- Scholarships for Academic staff for conducting post-doctoral research in all fields.
- Research Scholarships in the field of arts management, artistic institutions, museums, and heritage studies for workers in this field and for Academic staff in Egyptian universities.
Third: The Hubert Humphrey Fellowship (HHH Program): The program provides opportunities to study and get multiple professional and leadership experiences for mid-career workers or for young people with professional experience with no less than five years after getting the bachelor’s degree and have leadership capabilities and interest in public service in their country.
Fourth: A program for English language teachers (FLTA Program): It is a program that provides English language teachers and teachers of similar fields such as linguistics, American studies, journalism and media, Arabic language teachers and professionals in related fields, and for those whose teaching experience does not exceed seven years, they have the opportunity to improve teaching skills they have and give them experience about American society, and it also provides them with the opportunity to teach the Arabic language in American institutes.
