Continuing and emphazising the correct approach to the promotion of medical service in subspecialties, today Corresponding to 25th March 2021, a workshop was held to train physicians from different governorates to use a flexible endoscope for stones extraction from the ureter and kidney without surgery, and this type of surgical interventions is high-precision and needs to Skills which are only available in University Hospital in Urology Department, and the flexible ureteroscope is one of the latest methods for stones extraction and requires high technique of equipment and cadres that are only available in university hospital.
The lecturer at the workshop was Prof. Ahmed Rashid Abdel-Latif _ Professor of Urology and Endoscopy in Sohag Medicine, and Dr. Hassan Ali _ Assistant Lecturer in the Urology Department_ was the coordinator of the workshop and it was in attendance of a group of Academic staff, their assistants, and physicians in the department.
