Under the patronage of Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab, the acting dean of the faculty of medicine and the vice dean of graduate studies and research Prof. Mohamed Zaki El Dahshoury, as well as the university hospital’s general manager Dr. Abdullah Mahmoud Al-Obaidi , Today corresponding to 23rd Dec. 2017 the training course on epidemiological screening, epidemics and antibiotic-resistant bacteria was concluded. The course was held in cooperation with the ministries of health and higher education, the Supreme Council of Universities and the Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention CDC.
It was organized under the supervision of the chairman of infection prevention and control department Dr. Asmaa Osama, Dr. Dina Morsi, and the members of infection control team. IC units’ nursing staff, technicians, lab doctors and the infection control unit’s members were trained on dealing with with epidemiological screening system inside the IC units. At the end of the course all IC units were provided by epidemiological screening devices and certificates approved by the Supreme Council of Universities and the CDC were distributed to the course’ attendees.
