Aswan University President Opens the Medical Conference on Neuropathology

  Today corresponding to 12th of Jan. 2018, Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab opened the medical conference under the title “Central and Peripheral Nervous systems Physiology by Measuring Neurophysiology.”

  The workshop was attended by Prof. Mansour Kabbash – secretary of the medical studies sector committee at the Supreme Council of Universities and the former president of Aswan university, Prof. Hanan Abdel Moneim, vice president of education and student affairs, Prof. Hussein Al-Sharif, chairman of  surgery department at the faculty of medicine, Dr. Ihab Emad Hanafi, undersecretary of the ministry of health and population in Aswan, and Dr. Iman Khader, chairman of the conference.

  Prof. Ghallab emphasized that the faculty of medicine and Aswan university hospital have a vital role towards society, he referred to the importance  of cooperation between the hospital and Aswan health directorate in providing medical service to Upper Egypt’s patients.

Dr. Iman Khader – the supervisor of neuropsychiatry department at Aswan university hospital and the conference chairman, declared that the conference is attended by many specialists in various Egyptian universities (Ain Shams – Cairo – Assiut – Sohag – Menoufia – South Al-Wadai – Aswan), it includes four workshops over two days to discuss ultrasound of the arteries of the brain and nerves.

  In a speech delivered by Dr. Hussein Al-Sharif he said that medicine is one of the noblest professions ever praising the role of Prof. Mansour Kabbash in establishing neuropsychological department at Aswan university hospital.
