Today corresponding to 7th Feb.,the 4th Conference of ENT Department was launched under the patronage of Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab and the supervision of Prof. Abdel-Matin Moussa, conference’s chairman, Prof. Essam Abu Al-Majd, chairman of the department of ENT, and Prof. Abdel-Rahman Al-Tahan, general rapporteur of the conference. The event was lectured by several professors and academic staff from various Egyptian universities for the benefit of postgraduate students and physicians. It was attended by:
- Prof. Hanan Abdel Moneim Awad, vice president of education and student affairs
- Prof. Ahmed Sayed Khalil, vice president of community service and environmental development
- Prof. Ayman Othman Mahmoud, vice president of graduate studies and research
In addition to a selected group of physicians as well as academic staff and their assistants from different Egyptian universities.
In a speech delivered by Prof. Ghallab, he highlighted the importance of such conferences, as they are considered tourism-attracting platforms and a vital way in elevating education. He also honored Prof. Abdel-Matin Moussa and granted him the University Shield.
Al-Tahan added that many different universities, scientific institutes and the Military Medical Academy are participating in this conference where it aims to highlight the updates in otolaryngology.
