Under the patronage of Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab and in the presence of the dean of the faculty of medicine Prof. Mohammed Zaki Al Dahshory, today corresponding to 24th Jan. 2020 the 1st day of the 8th Annual Congress of Plastic Surgery Departments in Upper Egyptian Universities that is entitled “Facial Aesthetics & Surgeries“ kicked off in Aswan Isis Hotel. The event will continue till 26th Jan 2020. It is organized by the universities of Aswan and Assuit.
The congress was held under the supervision of the chairman of plastic surgery at Assuit university and the conference chairman Prof. Yousef Saleh and Dr. Ahmed Abd Al Raheim Qenawy, the conference secretary and the lecturer in the plastic surgery department at Aswan university. A selected group of academic staff, their assistants, and plastic surgery physicians from different Egyptian universities witnessed the event.
Among the conference recommendations are
- Doing research that is in line with the latest methods in that area.
- Making workshops.
- Cooperating with other specialties to create a competitive group in the joint specialty to prescribe the most effective medicine.
