Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Imam, Acting President of Aswan University, the University is set to host an event entitled “Egypt-Netherlands | Advancing Through Your Knowledge,” as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening partnerships between higher education institutions and the business sector, empowering students and graduates, and equipping them with the skills needed to meet the evolving demands of the labor market.
The event is organized in collaboration with the General Administration for Student Welfare, the University Center for Career Development (UCCD) at Aswan University, and Egypt-Netherlands Company. It aims to create diverse opportunities for learning, interaction, and hands-on experience, while familiarizing young people with the essential competencies required in today’s job market and enhancing their readiness for professional life.
The event’s program will feature a range of interactive and sports activities, in addition to practical workshops on writing professional résumés (CVs) and preparing for job interviews. Participants will also have the opportunity to attend a specialized introductory seminar highlighting the most sought-after skills and competencies in the current labor market.
Furthermore, the event will recognize and honor distinguished faculty members, assistant academic staff, and students in appreciation of their outstanding achievements. It will also provide employment and training opportunities for students and graduates, creating valuable opportunities to connect with employers and explore potential career pathways.
The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 15, 2026, at the theater of the Faculty of Al-Alsun (Languages), Aswan University, in New Aswan City. Students and graduates are invited to register and participate through the designated registration link.
This event reflects Aswan University’s commitment to enhancing the employability of its students and graduates, strengthening their competitiveness in the labor market, and bridging the gap between academic education and professional requirements. It further reinforces the University’s role in preparing a qualified generation equipped with the knowledge, skills, and capabilities to contribute effectively to sustainable development.
