Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshouri, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of Aswan University Hospitals; Prof. Ashraf Maabad, Executive Manager of Aswan University Hospitals; Prof. Ramadan Ghaleb, Director of the Internal Medicine Department; and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Wareth, Head of the Department of Psychiatry and Neurology, the Department organized a scientific day entitled:
“Approach to Movement Disorders”
Dr. Mohamed Habil Hamdan, Lecturer at the Department of Psychiatry and Neurology, delivered a lecture on the clinical approach to movement disorders. The lecture addressed the key clinical principles for evaluating patients, the latest scientific approaches to diagnosing these disorders, and the available methods for their management.
The Scientific Day witnessed distinguished attendance and active participation, featuring a number of scientific discussions and an exchange of expertise among the participants. These discussions contributed to enriching the scientific knowledge of attendees and familiarizing them with the latest developments in the fields of psychiatry and neurology.
The organization of such scientific events comes as part of the Department of Psychiatry and Neurology’s ongoing efforts at the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, to promote continuous medical education and enhance the scientific and professional competencies of physicians.
