The Special Committee announces the opening of nominations for the position of Dean of the Faculty of Medicine from among the faculty members currently serving at the Faculty. The nomination period will run from Sunday, September 13, 2026, to Sunday, September 20, 2026.
Candidates shall submit their applications in person, or through an authorized representative holding an official power of attorney, to the Office of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Imam Abdel-Radi, Acting President of Aswan University and Chair of the Special Committee, at the University Headquarters in Sahari. Applications will be received daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. throughout the nomination period.
Applications must be accompanied by the following documents:
* A nomination request addressed to the Chair of the Committee (1 original copy).
* An official statement of employment status, duly certified and stamped by the Faculty’s Personnel Affairs Department, detailing the applicant’s academic and career progression (1 original copy + 6 paper copies).
* The applicant’s curriculum vitae (1 original copy + 6 paper copies).
* A strategic plan for the development of the Faculty during the applicant’s term as Dean, outlining areas for improvement, reform strategies, and proposals for growth and development (1 original copy + 6 paper copies).
* A legal clearance certificate issued by the General Administration of Legal Affairs (1 original copy).
* A copy of the applicant’s National ID card.
* Six recent personal photographs.
* A complete electronic copy of the nomination dossier on a CD or USB flash drive.
