The Postgraduate Studies and Research Department at the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan, headed by Prof. Mustafa Adam El-Tiri, Vice- Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, announces that the Postgraduate Studies and Research Committee and the Research Ethics Committee will convene on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 10:30 AM in the Dean’s office at Aswan University Hospital. The deadlines for graduate students (master’s and PhD) are as follows:
-To submit master’s and PhD research proposals and postdoctoral research: Thursday, May 21, 2026.
-To submit graduate research topics: Monday, June 1, 2026.
Notes:
-Six (6) Master’s proposals will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis (others will be deferred to the following month).
-Four (4) PhD proposals will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis (others will be deferred to the following month).
-Five (5) postdoctoral research proposals will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis (others will be deferred to the following month).
Master’s and PhD students submitting research protocols for discussion before the Studies Committee must wear a white coat during the discussion.
