Today Monday, Aswan University Council (101) has been hold headed by Prof.Ahmad Ghalab president of Aswan University, attended by Dr. Ayman Osman –Vice President of High studies and researches University-, Dr. Magdy Mohamed Ali – Vice President of helping society and developing environment -,and deans of faculties .
Prof. Ahmad Ghalab- President of Aswan University – opened works of council and congratulated students and teaching staff and working staff on Christmas.
Council congratulated Faculty of science on approving the faculty program from National Authority for Accreditation and Quality.
Prof. Ahmad Ghalab confirmed through Council on the importance of finishing the medical and healthy projects which belong to University Hospitals. Aswan University Hospital witnessed developing in various sections which considered direction for all Aswan’s patient and patients of Southern Upper Egypt to receive medical service through prequalifying and raising the efficiency of cadres and medical experiences.
Prof.Ahmad Ghalab added that Aswan University witnessed establishment of several new buildings as Internal and Children Hospital that included (150 beds) and dialysis unit, which has been completed by 85% of the volume of work.
The Council discussed applying of educational and sports buildings in Aswan University square in Sahary and Aswan Al-Gdeda.
Also, the council discussed the University Plane of preparation of first term exams in ventilation halls and takes caring of social distance of one and half between each student, with wearing masks in various collages through facing Covied-19 and work to make the first semester exams successful in light of the exceptional circumstances that the country is going through.
The council approved on employing number of academic staff in the positions (Lecturer-Assistant Professor) and awarding degrees.
