Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab declared that in the framework of the State’s directions to raise the efficiency of the university hospitals and ease the kidney patients’ burdens in Aswan and Upper Egypt, a preparation meeting was held headed by the dean of the faculty of medicine and the manager of Aswan university hospital’s kidney transplantation program Prof. Moahmed Zaki Al Dahshori. The meeting aimed at studying the hospital’s readiness for inviting the ministry of health’s committee to start kidney implementation in Aswan university hospital. The meeting was attended by Aswan university hospital’s executive manager Dr. Ashraf Meabeed, the members of the departments of urology, kidney diseases, clinical pathology, anesthesia as well as the units of quality, ant infection and diagnostic radiology. Prof. Dahshori said that urology department is undergone clear development for performing kidney transplantation. The teamwork was trained in the big specialized hospitals as Dr. Mohamed Ghonem center, Al Mansoura. In the same context, Dr. Ashraf Meabed said that the meeting tackled all the needed requirements to perform the kidney transplantation which will have a positive impact on the patients.
