In light of the current efforts to develop the health system, and in the belief in the importance of workshops to improve the efficiency of doctors, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Aswan Faculty of Medicine, in collaboration with Aswan Association of Microscopic Surgery, organized a workshop on “Fetal Medicine”, under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshoury – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Prof. Mohamed Salah El-Din – Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals, under the supervision of Prof. Nahla Waer Shady – Head of the Department.
The workshop was held on Monday, February 24, 2025, at the department’s headquarters in Aswan University Hospital, in the presence of a group of professors of obstetrics and gynecology, headed by:
Prof. Mahmoud Suleiman – Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Fetal Medicine, Kasr El-Ainy.
Prof. Ahmed Zakaria – Professor of Fetal Medicine, Kasr El-Ainy.
Dr. Ibrahim Fawzy – Lecturer and Consultant of Fetal Medicine, Kasr El-Ainy.
Dr. Adel Hosni – Consultant at the Cancer Institute in Cairo.
Dr. Nahla, Head of the Department, revealed that 34 cases were evaluated during the workshop, appreciating the doctors’ contributions and efforts in growing the department and making the success of these workshops, which benefit patients in the governorate and surrounding governorates.
