The Supreme Council of Universities (General Administration of Cultural Relations – Department of International Organizations and Conferences) announces that, with reference to what was received by the Secretariat of the Council from Assistant Minister – Acting Head of the Cultural Affairs and Missions Sector at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which included that a letter was received from the Egyptian Cultural Office in Montreal / Canada regarding a meeting between Mr. Francois St. Laurent and Ms. Charlie Martineau – Representatives of International Relations and Francophonie in the Canadian province of Québec at the Egyptian Cultural Office in Montreal to discuss opportunities for joint cooperation.
According to the aforementioned address, the Government of Québec has announced a “Invitation to Joint Cooperation Projects between Québec and Arab Republic of Egypt” for the academic year 2024-2025 to finance research in the following areas:
-Food.
-Culture.
-Education and higher education.
-Health and social services (including life sciences).
-Science and technology.
-Innovation (including social innovation).
-Artificial intelligence.
-Entrepreneurship.
-Space sciences.
