Our esteemed department includes a selected group of the academic staff, their assistants, specialists, consultants, and resident doctors who deliver the best health service around the o’clock all week. The department has different specialties; child neurology, heart disease unit, kidney disease unit, blood disorders unit, pediatric intensive care unit, intensive care nursery (ICN) unit, internal department unit, reception and emergency unit, …etc. The pediatrics department is keen on providing educational policies as training resident doctors and doctors with Egyptian fellowship as well as several other training programs under the supervision of a selected group of academic staff. It also has research goals that aim at enhancing scientific research and serving the community. In this regard, it encourages missions and seconding in specialized centers.
