Prof. Mohamed Abdel Aziz Mahalal, Vice President of the University for Postraduate Studies and Research, has decided to set rules governing the publication of scientific research and articles, as well as passing the English language placement test for graduate students pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees, as follows:
Publishing a scientific study, sending a letter declaring acceptance of publication, or publishing according to the following:
For students who have not formed discussion committees by the date of University Council 125 on November 23, 2022: –
1-The doctorate student publishes two articles, at least one of which is listed in a global database (WOS – SCOPUS) or a university journal (with letter of acceptance).
2- The master’s student publishes one article in a journal listed in one of the global databases (WOS – SCOPUS) or in university journals (or receives a letter of acceptance).
For students for whom (research points) have not been registered until the date of University Council 125 on November 23, 2022: –
1- The PhD student writes two articles, one of which is published in a journal listed in one of the global databases (WOS – SCOPUS) and the other in at least one of the university publications (or obtains a letter of acceptance).
2- The master’s student publishes two publications, at least one of which appears in a journal listed in one of the global databases (WOS – SCOPUS) or in the university’s journals, or receives a letter of acceptance for one article listed in the global databases.
