Under the patronage of Prof. Mohammad Zaki Al-Dahshouri – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, under the supervision of Prof. Abdo Saeed Ait Allah – Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sohag University and Scientific Supervisor of the Department of Medicine in Aswan, in the presence of Prof. Nahla Waer – Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Aswan, and Prof. Mohamed Salah Aldein – General Director of Aswan University Hospitals, on the sidelines of the second annual conference of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, scheduled to be held on January 31, in partnership with the Middle Eastern College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in England, a workshop was held in the department over two days, January 14-15, 2024, on:
“Laparoscopic surgical intervention to treat cases of uterine and vaginal prolapse after laparoscopic hysterectomy.”
The workshop discussed lectures by the following gentlemen:
Prof. Mohamed Abu Dabous is a consultant in endoscopy in Germany and a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Tripoli, Libya.
Prof. Ahmed Saber is an assistant professor of gynecological and endoscopic surgery at Benha University.
During the workshop, several (5) cases were removed from the uterus, and the uterus was removed using the CESA and VASA networks by the laparoscope.
This cutting-edge technology was introduced in the Arab Republic of Egypt’s Aswan Governorate. The workshop was set up and led by:
Dr.Mohamed Ali Anan, Lecturer of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Aswan Medicine.
Dr. Amr Shehata, Lecturer of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Aswan Medicine.
