
In the context of the inauguration of the presidential initiative of the Future Minds Program to invest in the country’s young, in order to create a conscious and educated generation of Egyptian youth with the capacity and powers to contribute to the construction of the new republic.
The Cultural Affairs and Scholarships Sector (Central Administration for Scholarships) announces the opening of the application window for the competitive system to obtain scholarships to spend a semester or an academic year at the undergraduate level as part of the Egyptian-Japanese educational initiative. The application is available electronically through the Central Administration for Scholarships website. Electronically attach photocopies of all essential documents.
The hardcopy file must be delivered, along with all original documents that were electronically attached, in the manner indicated as follows:
1-Duration of study in Japan: (one semester – academic year) for the undergraduate level.
2-All financial payments were agreed upon according to the available funding have been modified or changes have been applied to them by decrease or increase based on the circumstances and vision of the Ministry and what is decided by the Egyptian state and the Ministry of Higher Education as well as the Scholarships Department and the Executive Committee.
3-The scholarships cover all program-related costs. (visa – round-trip tickets – accommodation – living – university fees). There are no costs covered by the scholarships for accompanying family members or friends.
Notes:
-The deadline for submitting paper files electronically is Thursday, April 13, 2023.
-A student cannot alter the Japanese University to which he or she has applied except with the approval of the Central Administration for Scholarships and the Egyptian Cultural Office in Tokyo.
-Students are accountable for communicating with Japanese universities and completing their admissions processes at Japanese universities.
-In the event that the student’s file is approved, the student’s acceptance of the scholarship and the study period (semester or academic year) in Japan will be decided based on the personal interview.
-The Central Administration of Missions can take any actions it considered necessary regarding the scholarship.
