Under the direction of Prof. Ramadan Ghaleb, Head of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine in Aswan Medicine, Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, President of the University, Prof. Mohamed Zaki El Dahshoury, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aswan University Hospitals, the Egyptian Society of Cardiology, the French Society of Cardiology, and Al-Salam International Hospital, with the honor and presence of German Professor / Dipak Jan – Head of the Workshop, and Prof. Hossam Mansour – Chairman of the Interventional Catheter Conference.
This morning, Wednesday, January 11, 2023, a workshop organized by the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, in cooperation with the Interventional Catheterization Conference, was held in the lecture hall of the New Al Batinah Hospital, which continued until the end of the day, under the name of
”ACIC XI (Advanced Cardiac Intervention Course)”
The purpose of the program is to provide knowledge on how to treat arteries that are completely blocked and have a backup. As an alternative to open heart surgery, it also intends to learn how to do dilation and stents.
The department’s annual conference will be conducted there, God willing, during the following two days, on Thursday and Friday, which correspond to January 12 and 13.
