The Department of Tropical Medicine and Gastroenterology, which specializes in diagnosing and treating diseases of the liver, digestive system, and infectious diseases, has been one of the first departments to carry the flag and exert effort to upgrade our dear college and provide the latest medical services. To our people in Upper Egypt’s southern governorates, and I was honored to collaborate with my colleagues at that important era.
Today, I praise them for their efforts, which have strengthened their hands, and I pray for them, encouraging them to put in more effort and sweat so that our beloved department and institution can achieve the status they deserve.
