The Department of Tropical Medicine and Gastroenterology, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of liver diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, and infectious diseases, has long been among the pioneering departments that have worked tirelessly to advance our esteemed Faculty and provide the highest standards of medical care to the people of Upper Egypt, particularly in the southern governorates. I was honored to work alongside my colleagues during that important period.
Today, I commend their dedication and outstanding efforts, which have greatly contributed to the Department’s continued success and development. I encourage them to continue striving for excellence and giving their utmost so that our beloved Department and institution may attain the distinguished position they truly deserve.
