In a human gesture from the students of the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, and under the auspices of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman – Aswan University President, Prof. Muhammad Zaki El-Dahshoury – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aswan University Hospitals, stated that today, Monday, corresponding to 1/8/ 2022, students of the 9th batch of the Faculty of Medicine graduates, Aswan University, in the first initiative of its kind, donated a dialysis device to Aswan University Hospital, as their desire to leave a good impact on the hearts of the faculty’s administration, the university hospital in particular, and Aswan University in general, after their graduation from their last academic year, and in veneration of the principle of community participation and contribution to alleviate the suffering of dialysis patients, as well as an emphasis on the role of the doctor, which includes the scientific, practical and humanitarian aspects, and in order to promote the dissemination of the principles of the noble medical profession message.
Dr. Ashraf Maabad – Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals, added that the donated dialysis device is of the type “Fresenius” and has been entered into the hospital’s work system, in the presence of His Excellency and Dr. “Al-Dahshoury” Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the Hospital Board of Directors, and Prof. Mostafa Adam Al-Tiri – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Hala Al-Obaidi – Head of the Department of General Internal Medicine, and students of the 9th batch of the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University graduates.
