Under the patronage of Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab, today corresponding to 6th Feb. 2018 the 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0conference on Tropical Medicine & Gastroenterology was launched and is scheduled to last till 9th Feb. 2018. Prof. Ghallab welcomed the attendees and confirmed that that caring for citizen\u2019s health is one of the country’s most important priorities in the program to combat and treat Virus C and Virus B, working to provide everything new for patients of Tropical medicine, Hepatology, and Gastroenterology, adding that Aswan university adopts the culture of promoting the educational tourism and holding scientific conferences as international scientific conferences are considered great opportunity for tourism promotion.\u00a0, the professor of digestive system & liver and the chairman of the conference Prof. Ehab Fawzi added that the conference handles the updates in liver diseases, viral hepatitis, digestive system diseases, ulcerative colitis, common infectious diseases in Egypt, and endoscopy.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A group of professors of the digestive system, liver and infectious diseases participated in the conference of universities of (Cairo – Ain Shams – Alexandria – Assiut – Sohag – Al-Azhar – Minya and South Valley in addition to Aswan University).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The conference was attended by the Vice President of Cairo University and founder of the National Committee for the Control of Hepatitis Viruses Prof. Gamal Esmat, who confirmed that the committee has taken positive steps towards liver diseases, through which we are working to eliminate Virus C and Virus B, and the Professor of Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases Prof. Sahar Hassani, mentioned that One of the most important recommendations recommended by the conference is applying everything new in the treatment of hepatitis C and intractable cases of patients with the digestive system and liver diseases, and that the conference will be held, at this time every year.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The conference was attended by the Professor of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Chairman of the National Committee for Virus Control Prof. Magdy El-Serafy , the Professor of the digestive system at Aswan University Prof. Mahmoud Amin Saqr.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

University President honored the Founder of the National Committee for Hepatitis Control Dr. Gamal Esmat, that awarded him the University Shield, as well as honoring the young researchers participating in the conference.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In attendance of the Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research Prof. Ayman Othman , and the Director of University Hospitals Dr. Abdallah Al-Ebaidi – and Head of the Internal Medicine Department and the Director of the Nephrology Unit Dr. Hala Al-Ebaidi – specialists in the digestive system and liver diseases from different countries.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
