It was organized by the Department of Plastic Surgery, Aswan university faculty of medicine, in the presence of Prof. Ahmed Ghalab, Aswan University president, Prof. Abdullah Al-Obaidi &#8211; executive manager of Aswan university hospitals, and Prof. Ahmed Qenawy \u2013 chairman of the plastic surgery department. &nbsp;The hospital received cleft lip cases and performed plastic surgeries from Friday, February 21, 2020, till Thursday, February 27. The convoy targeted the poor who can&#8217;t afford treatment expenses. It provided treatment in cooperation with the free international medical convoy, which included an international medical team specialized in the treatment of cleft lip. The ceremony witnessed a speech delivered by the Aswan university president in which he thanked the medical team for the distinguished effort exerted in treating the suffering patients; he also thanked the hospital management for the event&#8217;s success.
