Medicine Department was established in line with the faculty inauguration in 2013. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Dr. Muhammad Kamal Salama<\/span>, cardiology lecturer at Aswan university, was the acting chairman of the department since its inauguration. He provided great services and contributed to the completion of establishing the new intensive care unit and cardiac catheterization, then <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Dr. Ramadan Ghaleb Muhammad<\/span> appointed as the acting chairman of the Department and is continuing the development process.
