Department of Orthopedics has played a vital role in providing medical care to all segments of society, despite facing several periods of shortages in human and scientific resources. Nevertheless, the department rapidly implemented development plans and expanded its surgical services to include specialized fields such as pediatric orthopedic surgery, congenital deformities, joint replacement surgery, sports injuries, spine surgery, pelvic fracture surgery, microsurgery, and minimally invasive surgery.
