chemistry of medicinal compounds and their connection to the effect of medication on the body, contributed to the emergence of pharmacology as a separate science at the end of the 19th century.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">My advice to my students is to always communicate with academic staff and their assistants to clarify anything that is difficult to grasp because science alone is dull and lifeless.
