{"id":9468,"date":"2022-07-19T07:09:59","date_gmt":"2022-07-19T07:09:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/med.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=9468"},"modified":"2022-10-21T11:22:27","modified_gmt":"2022-10-21T11:22:27","slug":"the-weekly-seminar-of-the-department-of-urology-discusses-the-nuclear-scan-in-the-urinary-tract","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/med.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/news\/the-weekly-seminar-of-the-department-of-urology-discusses-the-nuclear-scan-in-the-urinary-tract\/","title":{"rendered":"The Weekly Seminar of the Department of Urology Discusses the Nuclear Scan in the Urinary Tract"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Under the auspices of <span style=\"color: #800000;\">Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshoury<\/span> &#8211; Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, the Department of Urology and Reproductive Surgery in Aswan Medicine completed its monthly series of activities, so yesterday, Monday corresponding to 19\/7\/ 2022, the department\u2019s weekly seminar activities were launched under the supervision of <span style=\"color: #800000;\">Prof. Mohamed Mostafa Hussein<\/span> \u2013 Head of the Department of Urology and Reproductive Surgery at Aswan Medicine and Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, where <span style=\"color: #800000;\">Dr. Mohamed Lotfy Alaa El-Din<\/span>, Assistant Lecturer, Department of Urology, Aswan, gave a lecture entitled:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">&#8220;Urinary Ultrasound Scan&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The scientific day dealt with an adequate explanation of the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Uses of atomic scanning and its importance in diagnosing renal obstruction.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">It&#8217;s used in the diagnosis of kidney infections in children and some tumors.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">It&#8217;s used in diagnosing congenital defects in the kidneys, ureters, and renal pelvis, as well as measuring kidney function.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Al-Dahshoury<\/span>, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, explained that the faculty is working to hold intensive and periodic workshops and scientific meetings to stand on solid ground and to learn about new methods of treatment in the various departments of Aswan University Hospital, and this leads to the quality of the medical service provided to the patient.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Younes<\/span>, Head of the Department of Urology and Reproductive Surgery, added, stressing the importance of development in the educational system, especially the medical system, which begins through the departments to hone young doctors with scientific and research expertise.
