Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Osman<\/span>-Aswan University President declares that within the framework of the health efforts conducted by the Second Medical Convoy of Aswan University under the auspiece of <\/span>Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar<\/span> – Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Health, during the time period from 7 to 20 May 2022, and works on providing the medical and therapeutic services for citizens at Tanzania; the medical convoy concluded its works with conducting 90 surgeries.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshoury<\/span> – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, the delegated medical teamwork to Tanzania resumes its works on Anjouan Island, where Dr.Ahmed Salah<\/span> – Lecturer, Department of Urology, Aswan Medicine, conducted (38) surgical operations in the urology specialization; it’s already performed27 surgical operations in the specialization of orthopedics also (25) surgeries in the specializing of urology Kivunji Hospital, Zanzibar, to be the harvest of the operations conducted by the medical convoy in Tanzania (90) surgeries, also the examination has conducted on thousands of patients in the various specializations with providing free-treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

It is worth mentioning that this convoy was not only a service, but an educational one to transfer expertise and create medical cadres in the field of urology and orthopedics in Tanzania. The second international medical convoy included many specialties from Aswan University and other universities, and the medical team was headed by Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshoury<\/span> – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Hisham Al-Refai<\/span> – Head of the Orthopedic Department at Aswan University Hospital, and Dr. Ahmed Salah<\/span> – Lecturer in the Department of Urology, Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, and in conclusion, the President of the Republic of Zanzibar, Dr. Hussein Ali<\/span>, and the Tanzanian Minister of health honoring the medical convoy in Tanzania in appreciation of their efforts during the convoy period.<\/span><\/p>\n
