It was organized by faculty of medicine\u2019s student union\u2019s scientific committee, at Notre Dame School and the Campus in Aswan Al Jadeda, under the auspices of <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman<\/strong><\/span>, Aswan university president, and <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Prof. Muhammad Zaki Al-Dahshoury<\/strong><\/span>, dean of the faculty of medicine, under the supervision of <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Prof. Mustafa Adam Al-Tiri<\/strong><\/span>, vice dean for education and student affairs, and <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Dr. Hussin Muhammad Hussin<\/strong><\/span>, faculty of medicine\u2019s general coordinator of student activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Prof. Dahshoury<\/strong><\/span> stressed on the importance of student initiatives and activities to spread health awareness, in accordance with the university\u2019s plan to activate student activities during the academic year, under the auspices of <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar<\/strong><\/span>, minister of higher education and scientific research. His Excellency extended his thanks and appreciation to faculty of medicine\u2019s students in general and the team of scientific committee for awareness in particular.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u00a0<span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Prof. Al-Tiri<\/strong><\/span> added that the students handled symptoms, prevention, treatment and various types of helicobacter pylori and anemia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u00a0 Students examined university students\u2019 blood groups in order to form a waiting list for blood donors, and distributed (250) awareness publications in Aswan Al Jadeda branch and (50) ones in Notre Dame School.
